How many cyclic doe you need for smooth 3D flight?

Hi,

How many cyclic do you need for smooth 3D flights with a T-Rex 500? I am familiar with the heli setup, but I have looked at the degree of cyclic. I have about -10º ~ +10º collective pitch.

What do I need for the cyclic pitch, 7º, 8º or 9º ?

i had 12t pinion and 12 degree collective and 8 degree of cyclic and found it slow as a snail changed to 13t pinion 13 degree collective and as much cyclic i could get and ended up with 9 1/2 in cyclic , think that is a good starting point and if u want more i think u have to grind a bit off the boom block for clearance to the servo arm.
