Which company was the first to introduce the 2.4 gig technology for use in rc system to the market ? Was in JR, Futaba or some other company

It's a nice thing though. I'm getting this :
Futaba 6EX 2.4GHz Transmitter
Wish it had more channels.

AFAIK, Spektrum. First to the RC car world, then the air world.
DO NOT get a 6EX for helis. You WILL be sorry. No subtrims and no separate pitch curev for throttle hold.

And, since you will have a Futaba Rx, you will need to buy a Futaba Tx, or you will have to also replace the Rx.

If You are looking for an affordable 2.4 gig radio with more than 6 channels you could look into an Airtronics RDS 8000. Its an 8 channel 2.4 gig radio. RcHover.com has them for about $240.
