Hallo,
can't find how many poles the ACE OBL 29/35-10H original MT motor has, any ideas?
I do not mean the stator arms which can be counted when looking from top on the motor, I mean the poles or magnets!
By the way I need that for the Eagle Tree brushless sensor the get the right motor rpm!
Thanks
Martin

Hi guys. If anyone's on line on this pretty Sunday - they must have their MT torn apart like me! http://static.rcgroups.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif
I'm surprised Martin didn't get an answer to the query above. Some of you must be using the Eagle Tree brushless RPM sensor with the stock motor (OBL 29/35-10H, product no. 2381)? Maybe not if nobody knows the answer to this.
The Ace Hobby website has some specs on the motor, but the poles are not listed. Apparently they don't produce manuals for their motors either.
I guess you can tear apart the motor and count them - but not me - I wouldn't have a clue what I'd be looking at!
Anyone?

I am interested to know, i can't find any info on any of the TT Z motorsSorry, I'm not familiar with the Z motors. I did find the answer on the 29/35-10H though. 8 poles. Here's where I found it (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=852187). Good photos of the inside of the motor. Also found the manual (http://210.202.20.209/upload/upload_file/Electric/2379-81-manual-e.pdf) by the way.
While looking for this info I've had this sound stuck in my mind - a low beep-beep-beep-beep - it's the start warning on the old Pole Position arcade game. Sunk a lot of quarters into that one. Anybody remember it? Careful, you'll be showing your advanced age! :YeaBaby:
