the diff between 5.03 and 5.04? plus other questions.

Are all 5.03 versions in a blue box w/ black dongle? I noticed the 5.03 ones on the official MRC site have the blue dongle and greyish cord. Are all 5.03 not upgradeable to 5.04 w/o paying extra $65? Or are some older versions of 5.03 upgradeable and not like the cheaper LIMITED SPECIAL IS STRICTLY FOR VERSION 5.03 ONLY versions.

i've noticed that the 5.04 is in black box and red dongle and the cd art is a little different (shows iVol controller).

Hi,

all versions and dongles of 5.03 are identical. The change to version 5.04 needs extra payment for upgrading to the new dongle. At the moment the differences between software version 5.03 and 5.04 are still small. Future updates will only work with 5.04.

BUT: The version 5.03 is already excellent. Therefore it is clever to buy it at the reduced price now and have a lot of fun. Later - when there are relevant updates to 5.04 - you may decide if it is worth to upgrade to 5.04 for you. Rumours tell that there will be a multiplayer modus and improved rotor sound.

i sent my dongle to mrc and i got a red dongle but it was the same shape as the blue.
