CAN a futaba radio like the 14z be used with spektrum rec,s like 6100 0r 6200 what ever. i would like to buy that radio but do not want to change rec,s on my heli,s.

Nope. Each 2.4 implementation is different, so you have to stick with the same brand of Rx as you Tx.

Futaba requires Futaba.

Spektrum/JR requires Spektrum/JR

XPS requires XPS

Airtronis requires Airtronics

And so forth.

Unless you put a module in your Tx, then you would match the Rxes to the Module. So if you have Spektrum Rxes, and buy a 14Z, you would have to put the Spektrum module in it.

He can buy the Spectrum module for the 14MZ. I have one & it works great.

That is true, but if he is running 72, he would have to change Rxes anyway. :)

i guess ill stay with the dx6i and dx7. where can i lern what the terms mean. is there a book or dvd.?
