You cook the grease with that much heat. How did you get it back in? -klaus

I had to heat the grips again and I put the packed bearings in the freezer, but the grease still liquifies as soon as the heat hits it.....

I honestly see no reason to make it that tight, except they probably would have too much clearance if the tolerences were not kept. But with todays CNC technology that should not be a problem...

this is an alternative grip..don't know yet if it has the same issues, but I would hope not.

ok i called readyheli and i explained the situation to the guy and told him there was visable damage when i first got them and i tried everything to get the bearings out to see whats damaged and he just just keep trying different things, then he told me to beat on them with a screw driver and hammer... this Pis&ed me off... i mean i know i got the package on sale but i would atleast expect the product to work or be able to return them

yea now my problem is should i order the gaui grips from them or try out those helidirect ones... i emailed helidirect to see if they could tell me if the grips needed to be heated to remove the bearings... but if i order the gaui grips from readyheli then i would be spending 10 bucks more than i origionally did lol... i might just wait it out for them to get the upgrade kits
