I am completing the list of parts on my ne T-Rex 600 project but I can't decide on the Governor. Using the supplied Align RCE-G600 Governor is an option but there are others as wel.
On my Raptor I run a GV-1 but that is kinda outdated and quite "overweight"
The options I consider are:
-Align RCE-G600 Governor
-CY ATG V-3
-CSM RevLock 30
-MultiGov
I have used a TJ-Pro in the past but I didn't like that one. The governor I cannot find any info on is the CSM RevLock 30, I will also use a CSM Carb Smart

Everybody will likely recommend what they use, whether it's the "best" or not. I have a Multigov and really like it. I like the precision by which RPM is configured and I like the detachable display, which allows the governor to be mounted places where a governor with a built-in display can't due to size. You're also not paying for the display more than once if you have multiple helis.

I think you should go for the MultiGov.
It's a really good governor for general flight or hardcore 3D !!
I received mine two weeks ago and it is very sweet and consistent ( better than the Align one..)
My 2 cents

I have a CSM revlock 20 and am really impressed with it's Performace and ease of Set-up. Look up some reviews on it before you make your choice.
Just because everyone is flying something doesn't mean it is the best out there.

Honeslty any of those govs work fine... You will do well using any of them. Some are easier to set up than others. If I was making the choice today it would be based on availability and price.....
