Hello,
I can't make the ccpm mechanics setup right due of the shorten linkages rod. they can't be leveled. someone got this issue?
thanks

What do you mean by "they can't be levelled"?
Do you start out with your servo arms horizontal?

yea i did. 50% throttle 0 degree pitch. everything is fine but the washout arm can`t be leveled; the linkage rods are too short. i set my the swashplate 7mm distance.
can u post your heli pics with profile view.

This is not like the trex setup seen in most videos, the washout arms dont need to be leveled here, get your cyclic links to 7 mm at center and make sure your at 0 pitch and you should be all set, I had to adjust my links 1 turn to get 0 degrees at 7 mm

ok good to know. the linkage is somehow still short to make it 7mm. 3d flying can make it loose up and crash. i will give a try with the linkage set i bought.
thanks for the info.

I got it all leveled out but I had a extra links set that I found the right size to make it work. Is it right I don't know ,but the swash is 7mm and the arms are level.

I actually have to cut the shortest cyclic linkage rod to get 7mm distance on mid stick. I guest we don't all get the same length rods from factory.

I am still setting mine up, but I have the same problem.
The shortest link is a short as possible, and the swash plate is 10 mm above "ground level"

What is your rationale for not getting the washouts level?

Mine, the shortest arm was also to long, but I had a shorter for spare, bought in a replacement kit. I think you can cut it, and still be able to get it into the ball-link.
I think it will depend how you set your servoarms ?
I sat mine 90 degrees to the heli - body.
Will add a pic with all at 0 deg pitch later.

Here are some pics of my setup.
In pic no. 3 you can barely see how I have used my Dremel-Wannabe  and cut of some of the base of the ball to the elevator link to get it in line, and don't touching the servo case.

I also cut down the shortest link just a bit to get the 7mm... seems the norm....

Did your guys check the pitch with a gauge too, or did you just trust that the 7mm would give you zero degrees of pitch?

What is your rationale for not getting the washouts level?
I dont have a pitch guage for this small of a blade so I eyed it up, my washout was not level at 0 degree center but i did have equal pitch range in the positive and negative direction.
as long as you have same pitch at the top and the bottom of your ranges it don't matter where 0 is, I also assumed the washout did not need to be leveled

here is a pic supporting my case of non level washout arms

someone in other forum use ball and linkage set from walkera #53 due of longer rod and no need to mod the screw ball holes. he can made the washout arm leveled. i think Gaui made this rotor head that way so we don need to level the arm as long we got enough pitch on dirrection.
thanks all.

Hi all,
I just recently received my 200 and have been working on getting it up and running over the past few days. I ran into the same problem with the linkages. A couple seemed way to long to get the swash to the correct heigth that the manual called for. Lucky for me, I already had a spare pack of linkages on there way in the mail. Using a couple of the smaller rods from the spare pack, I was able to get it level and to the specified heigths. Anyways, its coming along and I can't wait to get it finished. I'll post some pics as soon as it is. Thanks for all your post. They've been a huge help to me.

I just built a couple more over the last few weeks. I had to cut a few threads off of both long rods to get the setup right. I didn't spend a lot of time worrying about the arms being level. I was more interested in 0 pitch at center and full pitch travel.

Hi!!! I'm new here and I am a new ep200 owner! I'm setting the CCPM and I'm just trying to figure out all the exact linkage lenghts. Can anyone tell me the right linkage sizes of the rotor head? My swash is level at 7.0mm (0° pitch), 2.7mm (negative pitch), but at full positive pitch is 12.5mm instead of 11.2.
I just used a couple of spare longer links and my washout arms are level at 0 pitch. I get about +-14 degrees at full travel.

matt, maybe you should check your swash mix settings. mine are all at 60. this heli...my advice is to set it up, and fly it. adjust as necessary. no two are alike.
