Hoverfly and a 9Z

Has anyone tried to use the Hoverfly with a 9Z transmitter? According to the instructions the Hoverfly works with Futaba Transmitters. I am not the best programmer of the 9Zand have tried everything I can think of. I have not been able to get it to work? It works fine with some of my friends Futaba radios that are not 9Z’s. I know the transmitter has to be in PPM mode to control the Hoverfly. If anyone out there has any suggestions or has the same experience and can help, how bout sharing your experience or solution.

Hi,

I don't have a hoverfly, but if you have a synth module in your 9Z, most of the single conversion receivers won't work with the 9Z. Just an FYI, not sure what the problem is, but this is something I had trouble with trying to get my piccolo going.

You might want to elaborate on what exactly the problem is.
