Well the 2008 event was only a little over two weeks ago. But I have been getting phone calls and emails wanting to know the dates for the 2009 event. The past events have always been held on the third full weekend in March. In 2008 it was no different, the event was held on the third full weekend.
Now the dates for the 2009 event will be the third full weekend in March.

The dates for the 15th Annual event will be
MARCH 20-21-22 , 2009

Hope to see you all here again in 2009. The landowner is going allow us to make the low area crossable for travel trailers. That will give use more room for parking travel trailers. Also parking for non participants will be across the road in the other field. This should allow registered pilots easier access to the pit area.
WE had 175 registered pilots in 2008. That exceeded the by 20 the most pilots we have ever had registered.

Thanks to everyone that came and attended. Also pilots have offered suggestions to make the event even better and I will enact some of them to make the event even more friendly than it already is.

We had something kind of like that one night last time. The wind was sideways and the lightning was fierce! I thought Wayne's trailer was going to take off like Dorothy's house with me in it.:o

Yep. Jared, Brian and I were camping in a tent when that happened. If you think you were scared, you should have tried out our accommodations. :YeaBaby:
