Should have pushed not pulled

Well today flying the hurricane was flying some mild 3D and in the middle of a backwards loop when I should have pushed the the elevator forward but instead I pulled the the elevator back and then BANG the ground jumped up and grabed at the tail and started to push it into the ground it was all over :arggg:

The damage was not that bad

This nearly happened to me the first (and so far, only) time I tried backwards flight. Knowing what to do is one thing but the reflexes don't always agree:arggg:
