hi all,
im currently setting up a trex and have a quick question regarding the dx7 tx. Ive set all my servos to 90degrees and got the swash level (all done in mode : N) once i flick the switch to mode 1 the servos central position seems to move up slightly (all 3 servos), then if i move the switch to mode 2 they return to the same position as point n? is this normal, sorry if the explanation is a little vage as i said im still learning, hope u can help me
thanks

ive been into the trim settings and moved the switch though all three modes an there is no change in any of the trim values? am i being dumb? i have been using this tx for 4month on fixed wing but just got into helis, is there a specific way in which i can chech the trim values for each mode?

Watch the screen when you flip the switch---if the trim indicators on the screen move,it's the trims. If the servos move but the trim indicators don't change, something in your setup is off.Check the swash mix settings.

Also check to see if you have dual rates set the same in all flight modes. Mid stick at 85% DR is a different location than mid stick at 100%.

i havent got as far as playin with dual rates yet so dont think it will be them. talking of swash mix the default is 60% per channel is this what i need or should i drop it to 50%? i didnt think the swash mix was different for each flight mode?

Jermo has a dx7 setup on video---go to a different model memory and start over by the video.Good place to find minor problems.
