I am the VERY proud owner of a Blade CX and a Blade CX2 (:clapppboth bought from Ebay) . Both came with lots of "cool" stuff:tongue. Honestly the CX is a better "Bird" than the CX2 probably due to the previous owner crashing it. I was wondering what's the differences between the twoother than the obvious Radio difference? I would like to have the "Spectrum" radio/RX from the CX2 in my CX. Is it a simple one for one swap? :badair:

The CX flies good (well it will again once my upper assembly gets here to replace the broken "Stabilizer Flybar Hub/Holder (1)" ) and the CX2 has some power/vibration issues. I was hoping to just use the GOOD parts from the CX2 to upgrade the CX since it flies very well already.

Any reason why I can't?:arggg: Any reason why I shouldn't?

Thanks in advance,
Allen

The main difference is the radio technology.

Thanks Bill! I may swap out the electronics tonight then. I appreciate the input :)

BTW if you leave the screw out of the flybar the flybar will just pop out if you crash, and it won't bend the flybar too badly and may save the holder next time. Got this tip at LHS and it saved me big time. I also have the CX and it's a great little machine.

Any reason why I would NOT want to put the Spectrum radio into my CX? The CX is flying like a CHARM and I'd like to add the "Good" radio in it. Is there any DownSide to this?

I put the 4-in-1 from a CX2 into my CX and it flies great!

One other difference not mentioned is the CX2 uses S60 servos where the CX uses S75 servos.
