so i've finally decided to rid myself of that troublesome mx450 after much consideration. it's been a decent bird, and i've got a ****e-load of parts still in the factory packaging but i'm just sick of it. the tail sucks. the rotor head won't track and has uber slop. i can't fit any bigger then a 2100mah pack in it... the reasons go on and on. so, instead of just getting a trex head and tail for the mx450, i'm just going to get a trex 450 kit. i'll be removing the servos, gyro, rx, motor/esc ect from the mx so i don't need all that. but my problem is i can't find a kit that isn't the "combo" that includes motor, esc, blades ect. anyone know where to get them? or does anyone have any other suggestions about what to get? i don't really like having the same darn thing that everybody else has, but with all the available parts and support, it's wise to stick with what is popular. i wonder if readyheli would break a combo for me?

I had the same issue, bare kit or combo, and elected bare kit so I can pick and choose the remaining items and to slowly put it together ... until I bought an almost RTF 450SA (gyro included) just add tx for $200 from the owner of the LHS. Heck, I spent enough at his store fixing the POS CP Pro which is now starting to collect dust.
