Hallo together,
what is the maximum current for loading the 1500Ah NiMh-Battery inside the DX7?
Thanks

Hi,
I think you could not go wrong with 1C, meaning 1500 mA

You might want to do a little more googling about charging NiMH batteries otherwise you'll shorten their life fairly fast.

Looks like 1/10 C is standard but 1/3 C is around the limit without temperature sensors. I've heated up a few charging at 1C and their life became shortened.

This is an ambiguous question! Which of the following are you asking:
a) What is the maximum drain the DX7 places on the Tx battery ?
Ans: about 180mA when talking to a DSM2 Rx and about 350mA when talking to a DSM RX
b) What is the maximum current I can draw from the Tx pack if used outside the Tx
Ans: These are not built with high power cells so probably not more than 1C (1.5A). The wires and connector on the stock pack are probably not rated for much more than that anyway.
c) What is the maximum recommended charge current ?
Ans: 1A through the charge socket on the side of the Tx. 1/10C (150mA) is the standard charge rate, 1/3C (500mA) is considered "fast" charge for NiXx. With a high quality peak-detect charger 1A should be OK. I regularly charge my stock JR 600mAh NiCd Tx pack at 1A if I am in a hurry and it seems fine after a year and a half of getting charged at least once a week.
