About a year or so ago I had asked some members of different forums if there was any interest in a Mid West based fun fly. There was a lot of possitive responce so........

The Mid America Miniature Helicopter Association would like to announce the Kansas City RC Heli fun fly scheduled for Sept 10 & 11 in Hillsdale KS. The fun fly will be an "Open Fly" format with no contest scheduled. The landing fee is $10 with a $7 park fee per day. (Sorry about the park fee but the field is on Corp of Eng. property.) Hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks will be made available.

Also included in this event will be an all day long "Help Desk" for the newer pilots. A "clinic" for set up and possibly some buddy box time for those that want to try maneuvers that haven't quite mastered yet.

Additional info will be available this week as more details are finalized along with directions. MAMHA is looking forward to seeing/meeting all who are available to attend.

For info please feel free to contact the MAMHA fun fly CD Howard Terrell. He can be reached at 785-826-0245 or email howardt@exline-inc.com

I can also be reached at raptor2378@aol.com or 816-686-7509

Quick update. The park fee is only $6.50 and is good for all day Sat. and until noon on Sunday. The Landing fee is still $10. So $16.50 for a week end of flying, food, and fun.

We would love to seem some scale participation as well. There are already four scalers that should make the event.

The Heart of America AMA show team may be present to do a noon demo on Sat. and there will also possibly be a night fly that evening.
