Whats a decent charger for charging two 3S packs at a decent price? My next step after this is gas powered so I don't want something that is too much. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i have the superbrain 989 and i like it... its 140 bucks and does up to 10a and it comes with power supply... all you will need is something to balance, i use 2 blinkies... it also does nicd and nimh batteries and lead acid so its pretty good... ive used it for a while and all of my packs still are runnin like their brand new

Thanks for the input...I will look into that one. Does anyone use the Thunder Power TP 610C Charger & Balancer? Readyheli has them for $130 but are currently out of stock.

i think that ones good but remember you still have to buy a power supply for that which is cheapest 40 bucks... the reason i didn't buy it is because i want to charge 3300mah packs at the same time and that one cant handle it

Gaui runs 6s packs, I would recommend a 6s charger. I am currently using Hyperion 1210i with balancer and have a Celpro 10s built in balancer coming. The Hyperion duo would be great! charge two 6s packs at once.
You should think about being able to charge at 2c rate as more lipo brands can charge at that rate. 2c for 3300 mah is 6.6amps. 30-40min charge instead of 60-80minutes at 1c. A charger that can only charge at 2 or 3 amp would be a pain to use. You only need to pay once for a good charger.

yea thats why i would say minimal 10a charger... the duo is nice but 270bucks isn't a descent price for me anyway lol

I use a Rc-Power BC6 which can charge at 5A. I agree that a higher charge rate will be better espeacially if you go to A123.
When you get to charge 2 3s packs, remember to hook up the balance lead to the correct battery or you gets lots of BIG sparks:smokin:
