anyone have any suggestions as to the removal of the pin that holds feathering shaft into the yoke?

Does it have to be pressed out?
Pliers?
specific direction?

any help is appreciated

Thanks,
ED

Got it, had one of these from back in the day

http://www.readyheli.com/Universal_Pinion_Puller_p/acc650.htm

I used the smallest shaft on the puller and it fits right in, I had to spread the puller body open some to accomodate the yoke, and then slid in the bottom plate.

2 seconds and the pin was pressed right through just enough I can get my new spindle shaft in and then just press back in the old pin

thanks for that link, just ordered it. That damn pin is the bane of my life after a blade strike.

good tool looks easier than my hand vice and one way bearing puller!
