I noticed on my first startup for my maiden that I had to click up the throttle trim by about 4-5 from center to get a good idle. Will this have any ill effects on my governor or setup in any way. Or, should I go back and get the mechanical set up to adjust? I know with my Multigov that I had to set the high and low stick I was thinking that I may need to set the low position again. Thanks!

No the gov does not even become active until about 30 percent tho. So if your nor curve is correct (0 low set idle with trim) you will be good. the multi gov i think doesnt act untill it reads a certain rpm, same thing. The low setting on the gov is only for when the gov is on in flight and is perventing the head from over reving, not for idleing on the ground.

If you want it "perfect" according to our instructions, just reprogram the endpoints again with the "SET IDLE, HIGH" procedure -- make sure you are in normal flight mode. Very simple to do.

Thank you Aerospire/Bob. I will follow those steps. I look forward to getting this heli out with the Multigov in action. I've got it off in normal for the break-in but flipped it into Idle up 1 just to test it, and it was steady. I've got to get some real flying in tomorrow.:)
