Thanks Mark,

It does look nice - however, is it just me or does this make the Hurricane 550 look even better value ??

Cheers,

Mike.

I was thinking the same thing....

yea, nice but if I were to go for a 500 with 425 blades it would have to be the HDX 500, just because all the rest are too closly priced to the Hurricane, and the Hurri is so much more heli once set up!

the only 425mm bladed heli that makes sense to me is the MSH protos, it's AUW with 6S2500's is the same weight as the hurri425 without a battery

my feelings about the hurri425 are still the same, looks really good, in fact it looks great! but it's too heavy cause it's using the 550's mechanics, and i think it's too expensive compared to the CF 550 which can be had for about $350-400

I hoped that the new little Hurricane makes the CNC cheaper but it doesn't seam so. Price for this little heli is way too high... there are better options in this class.

My friends HDX 500 is so much lighter than my Trex 500. I already have considered that my Trex 500 is pretty heavy for its size. Now the new Hurricane 425 is nearly 100 grams heavier :( is very sad indeed. I am sure it will be great as it comes with bigger motor but then you end up having bigger batteries to power the bigger motor.

Gaui should consider a lighter head version, get rid of the extra gears, do direct servo to swash link (less manufacturing as well). Then it will be an awesome ship, cost less to make and sell a ton of them.
