Go to www.phoenix-sim.com than click on the downloads tab, and scroll halfway down the page. If its still not there, refresh your browser.

Devin, or anybody, I need you help.
These new scale models (the 222 and the Airwolf) are both frickin Nitro's
How about some sweet turbine sounds for these?

Or Phoenix...
Can you guys re release these things as turbines?

Yay! Those are very nice!

I'd also like to see turbine versions (not only turbine sounds). Oh, and a turbine lama would be good too :D

And Dood, as someone mentioned elsewhere, that avatar is scary. Is it some kind of zombie or something?

That Avatar is Michael Jackson, commemorating the 25th anniversary (and re-release) of his Thriller album. :D

I just love the FREE models Phoenix gives us! Eat your heart out Real Flight !!

They are nice models and not wishing to start yet another "which one is best" but just FYI you can download 343 FREE models for Realflight G3.5 from here ...

Also not to react on yet another "which one is best"...
But these are models provided/created by the G3.5 community, not official expansion packs by the Realflight team, AFAIK those are not FREE....

I guess that's what Buzzkill meant.

Yes that's what I meant. I have G3.5 but don't use it since I got Phoenix.

The point I was making is these are provided by company that produced the sim and not the users as stated previously by my esteemed colleague EricW.

I know that models can be made for RF, can models be made for Phoenix by users or do I have to wait for them to be made? Now I'm confused...

At the moment it's not possible to make custom models for PhoenixRC.
The models we have are all created by the PhoenixRC dev's.
I'm sure that in the future we will also be able to create our own models in PhoenixRC.

When they keep creating new Free models in this tempo and with this quality i see no need for User created models Btw.
User created or custom models in simulators are sometimes very well done, but most of the time inaccurate and/or not realistic IMHO.

I'm sure that in the future we will also be able to create our own models in PhoenixRC.Ahh, do you know when? As a user of RF who now has purchased Phoenix, I can say that I like both sims. While there may be many junk models on the RF swap pages there are quit a few that are very well done - flight physics and modeling. I look forward to when models can be made for Phoenix.

Thanks,

In the future i hope, probably when it's even more stable and final :)
I'm not one of the developers, so for me it's a bit hard to predict when they release a geometry import/export tool.
But i would be surprised when they would not allow us to build custom models at a certain stage.

I like the way both of these look, but has anyone else noticed that they seem to be a little dark colored? Almost like they're in shadows all the time, especially the sides? Every now and then the undersides get lighter like the sun is underneath them or something. Or is it just the fact that my slow computer I had to set every setting to "low" just to get it to run at a decent frame rate?

Hello.

The Airwolf heli is really super nice. Thank you for this fine model.

One question: on the PhoenixSite you can read that the model have >retractable weaponry<

What key should I press to make it function ?!.

Thank you.

On my DX7 I use the "Gear" toggle switch to make the landing gear/weapons retract.
