Well, I guess I finally have this thing working. (Phoenix 60). Between the, to me, sad instructrions, the erroneous tech advice - unplug motor to safely set the top end throttle stick throw (many failures to make this work. finally find out controller needs to 'see' the motor to set the throttle range), all the self-reset of settings from the castle link, I am really just glad my heli (or the esc or bec) have not gone up in flames.

Two excellent flights two days ago. Actually had to go out of town for two days to WORK. Has a sweet start-up. Mighty fine. I can click one throttle notch and it just starts turning the blades, smooth and easy. So glad to say goodbye to that 'jump' start. It used to almost tip over at spool up at times.

Flies really well. Might be my imagination but this controller seems to make a difference in flight power control. Am running pitch/throttle curves but it is really (really) nice.

What a thrill banking this big bird overhead. And in little scooting and weaving maneuvers it doesn't 'flit' around like the 450's. Very easy to follow and stay with mentally.

Yee Haw.
