April 19th & 20th 2008- Monaville, TX (C) Helicopter Fly-In Come to the first Bomber Field Heli Fy-In!

Plenty of grass and hard surface landing area. Come early, RV's welcome, no hook ups. Concession stand open with hamburgers and cold drinks for the pilots and spectators. Plenty of room for tents, and covered pit area. Any type of helicopter can fly, any size, gas or electric. Landing fee $20.00.

I was over at Bomber Field this afternoon. Met with Nick Stratos (current president) and B.B. Weber (Owner of the field). We met and talked about the structure of this fun fly and came up with a great plan. The folks there at Bomber Field are very genuine and are very pleasant (Their kindness will kill you, no joke). For those of you who plan/can/will attend, this event, I assure you this will be a good time.

There will have Autorotation and Drag Racing events at this fun-fly and issue out a First, Second, and Third place plaque to each of the winners.

Bring whatever heli you want, and fly whenever you want. There will be 5-6 pilot stations out on the line and they have a golf cart to bring/pickup folks who fly on the ends.

During the same time of the fun fly, at the pond just south of the flying area (on the same property) there is a group of RC boaters that will have an event with RC Battleships. These ships have Co2 cartridges installed that shoot BB's and will attemt to sink each other. For those of you who want to relax from flying and check that out, gives a little variety throughout the day.

There will be pilot prizes given throughout the day as well.
There will be a PA system and music available.
