pcm on 8v???

I was setting up to go 2 cell unregulated to my 8717's but Finless mentioned on the build video that only some 2.4 rx's are capable. Has anybody run 8v through a PCM JR rx????

I would be very surprised if a standard pcm RX could handle 8V but then again if they thought people might be using 5 cell NiCad packs they might have allotted some headroom>?

I have never heard of anyone using a standard PCM RX on 8V. I would NOT do it. The specs are not rated for that high a voltage but the spectrum RX's are.
