9303/MULTIGOV

HI FREAKS,

I know ansewrs for my questions are found somewhere in this forum, But I couldn't find them :o

I was not flyin my 600N since 10 because of the injury I got on my leg because of a broken tail blade.
Anyway during this time I received my multigov,And today I mounted it on my 600N now I need to program both the radio and the governor.
I have no idea about governers and how they work.

Can any one using my same setup help me?

HELI - 600N PRO
ENGINE - 50 HYPER
EXHAUST - ALIGN
RADIO - 9303
RECEIVER - SPECTRUM AR 7000

I need to know where to connect the RPM SELCT wire on me rx, AUX2 OR GEAR ?
If using the AUX2, Do you use all the 3 modes of the switch governer on?

I was thinking if I make the first mode governer off (rpm below 500), the second mode full mode and the third mode overspeed mode.

DO I NEED A TACHOMETER????

And what HEADSPEED you guyz run with hyper engine,
I want a setup good fore near to HARDCORE 3D but also dont want to hurt my engine.

I run
mode 1: off
mode 2: 2000rpm overspeed mode
mode 3: 2100rpm overspeed mode (fly in this mode 99.9% of the time).

AND I CAN SEE U PREFER OVERSPEED MODE OVER FULL GOV MOD. WHY?

I WAS THINKING THE OVERSPEED MODE WORKS JUST AS A PROTECTION IN ORDER NOT TO PASS THE MAXX HEAD SPEED.

DOES IT WORK THE SAME LIKE THE FULL GOVE MODE? I MEAN CONSTANT HEAD SPEEDS?

holy Caps lock batman.


2100 isn't to high.. its only around 17k rpm at the engine.

I like overspeed mode b/c it follows the throttle curves and keeps the head from overspeeding, which i think makes the heli more responsive. compared to governor mode which governs it at one headspeed.

throttle curves are:
normal - 0-50-100
IU 1 - 100-80-65-80-100
IU 2 - 100-65-100

I run the same.. 2100hs makes it kick butt.. ATG max 100%..!!

Running mine at 2100 in 1 and 2160 in two using full gov. works great.

guyz what about the radio programing?

I activated the GOV in the menu, what rates need to use on the governor setup page?
When I change my aux 2 swithch the headspead is changing on the multigove programer,
After I turned on the GOV in the radio setting how do I activate the governor?
with the ST SWITCH OR AUX2 ?

dude.. read the directions for the multigov setup on their website for the 9303 and w/ the manual included w/ the multigov for the speed setups

in order to use the governor menu and 3 speeds you have to have the governor in the GEAR channel.

not with the governor menu on a 9303. the govenor menu is setup to allow 3 speeds. i haven't found a way of using aux 2 yet.
