Strange Happenings after install

I got my sim today. Installed it and was blown away. This thing is outstanding!

Then I decided to try a heli on water. The scenery didn't pop up and the heli began to freeze frame and "stutter" then the whole thing locked up. Had to completely reboot. It ran fine until I had to stop for a while. When I came back the screen was black as it the computer was asleep. A wiggle of the mouse and a few taps on the keyboard resulted nothing. Ended up having to force the computer down and restart it again. Anyone have any idea what is going on?

Maybe turn the screen saver off. Also, try turning any power saving features off (e.g. hard drive and turning the monitor off). Just some thoughts.

Oh, if you have Spybot Search & Destroy running. In particular the TeaTimer, I found Phoenix won't even start. I can see the PhoenixRC.exe in the task list but, nothing comes up. As soon as I exited the Teatimer and then restarted Phoenix it came up just fine.
