I was flying My cx2 last night and everything was fine. Today I installed an Xtreme Carbon fiber tail kit. And now it is VERY hard to control. I can not do anything. I am charging the battery to see if that is the reason. Anyone else?

Did you make any adjustments to the head assembly? The reason I ask is that on my CX I was flying it like a CHAMP last week and got into more wind that the law (law of CX that is) allows and had a high-speed landing. It tipped over and broke off the tip that holds the fly-bar. I replaced it with an Alum set-up and tried flying it again. Flew like a cold turd! Hard to even keep flying like it was so touchy my heart would make it fly crazy. It just sea-sawed back and forth. I was SO frustrated I was about to toss it. I tweaked this & that for hours. All to find out that I had over-tightened the "Fly-bar" hold down cap-screws and the fly-bar was too tight and hard to move. I loosened it up and it again flies like a dream. I would imagine something is either too loose or something is too tight.

Good luck and keep us posted :)

Mine didn't change when I installed a Boomtown hobby fiber tail. Carefully inspect the entire rotorhead from flybar to servos and make sure all the ball links are free. I changed a battery once and then in the next flight the thing crashed. All I did was change a battery. After that aileron servo would twitch while it was run up, held it in my hands, and obviously it wouldn't fly. Got a new servo and before I put the servo in and was looking at the aileron input on the receiver, it was not plugged in all the way. I pushed on it till it was totally seated and the problem went away. Sometimes a little thing like that will do it. We always learn new things and maybe that's part of what makes this addiction so fun. Good Luck!
