Hi all,

I just got a Spectra and a stock G231PUH. I don't want to run it on the stock exhaust. It's too loud.

I'm considering the Zimmermann 2819 quiet pipe. Also considering sending the motor in for TRM stage 1. (I've heard it's smoother than stock.)

Although the TRM231 has more power, it isn't really that big an issue for me. I'd give a little powerwise and have a smooth running / easy-on-the-ears-engine.

My question is - is the Zimmermann muffler going to work with a TRM stage 1 or would you go a different way?

Half my flying will be 30feet or less from this thing. I want it quiet. The other half will be 3d, but somewhat more open style. I have no desire for "smack" 3D with this thing.

Ideas?

Personally I use the TRM/Hatori at the moment, I have never used a stock 231puh,
but the TRM modification is smooth, more power and more torque.
