Wren, MS Fall Fling (Oct 10-12, 2008)

just wanted to give everyone a heads-up about our dates for the Fall Fling in Wren, MS this year. For those of you that missed it last year (we hosted IRCHA SE) we had a great turnout and hope to continue to grow it this year. I'll post more details as the date approaches but here's the basics: Oct 10-12, 2008(second weekend in October), basic camping sites, water availiable, great fun and food, great time...

The downside is that the next tuesday (14 oct) will be the full moon, so some of the deep sky stuff may not be as easy to find as it was last year, but the moon should be bright enough to project out the eyepiece onto paper for all to see at once.

I want be able to attend.:( Our Tenn. Electric Fun-Fly (TEFF) is the same weekend. I'm the cook for the concession stand. Can't get out of it. I know ya'll will have a great event. Hope to see you all at our Heli fun fly on Sept. 20-21in Tullahoma Tn.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Tupelo last year and it is pretty nice. It is about a 30 minute drive from the field. I'm not sure if there are any hotels that are closer.

I look forward to seeing everyone again this year!!!!
