As the title says, is the HDX CNC tail grips for the Hurri (HDX550-19) equipped with thrust bearings? Is this tail good for higher head speeds?

If not, what is recommended?

I don't believe they have thrust bearings.

Hi there!

I have the HDX Tail assembly but i still use the Trex600 Tail grips and hub which is a thrusted tail. As bearwood wrote there was an incident where the HDX Tail Hub sheard right of. And no this tail is not a thrusted Tail!

I think i would get the Trex or the Raptor metal grips and hub. But vor now the Plastic Grips are just fine for me!
But i do like the HDX Tail Quality except for the hub! It is even 20 gramms lighter then the Plastic tail and gives you more throw and less binding issues!!

Quick UK Raptor 30/50 CNC tail grips are a direct swap-in - including the hub. They have thrust bearings.

I have been using these (silver ones) since I assembled my Hurri.
