I finally recieved the Gaui 200 in the mail after waiting a short time. I was all excited to try it out and had the work table ready.

First problem - the hardware bag came with the wrong size rod links and no balls for the servos.

Second problem - the 3 wires on the motor are all black. I am used to red black and blue, same as the ESC

I assume that it makes a difference in how they are hooked up. Can anyone help me figure out what goes where?

Thanks :thinking

Connect the motor wires to the esc wires in whatever configuration you can guess might work and when it doesn't switch two wires with each other (pretty sure everyone does it this way, you might get lucky and connect them correctly on the first try). As far as I am aware there is no way to know by looking which wire is positive etc.

I would call the vendor you purchased the kit from and let them know there were parts missing. If the vendor is reputable they will ship out the missing parts and parts of the correct size, and you should insist they ship next day air.

It even says to do so in the manual.

Thanks for the help.

Was just worried that I would smoke the ESC or something by getting it wrong. Typically I would have hooked them up and hoped for the best, but I learned my lesson a while ago about doing it that way.
