I just posted this on another site as well.

I just wanted to publicly thank John Beech and the crew at Audacity models for their top notch customer support. I screwed up the tail gear (totally my fault) and my LHS did not have one in stock, I called John to see about ordering one. He stopped what he was doing and put an order together for me, so he could get it out in today's mail, which was due to be picked up in minutes from my call.

Thanks for the kind words . . . I'll share them with everyone because as you'll see, getting things out on time is a team effort. Our shipping department motto is, "By hook, or by crook, ship the same day for a winning look!" Anyway, here's the story . . .

While hanging up from taking your order I saw the the postman drive over to shipping/receiving. I gave the order to Lynn and quickly intercepted the postman and held him up a little bit by chatting and offering him a cold soda (pretty easy to do when its as hot as it's been recently). While I was distracting him, Lynn called Jenny to pick the replacement part, Lynette dropped it into a padded envelope and ran it from the warehouse to the office, and all the while, Lynn was getting the shipping label ready. Next she slipped it into the mail tub. The end result was the postman enjoyed a brief respite (while never twigging to why we were delaying him) and your part made it out today!
