For tandem use, currently we have been recommending that transmitter channel 5 be used for DCP control.
CH5 is normally setup as a slave pmix off of the elevator channel. This allows you to control the ratio (blend) of DCP vs elevator cyclic conveniently by adjusting the mix gains in your Tx.
Once you get the mix to where it "feels" good it may not be necessary to change it again.
With this in mind,
Just connect the TH-2 DCP input (black lead) to the gyro then the gyro to the elevator output of the Rx.
You may need a "Y" lead to do that. This accomplishes what the pmix does, but without the adjustability from your Tx
It should work fine. Keep in mind that the DCP gain setting (TH-2) will need to be lower than with the other setup. Just measure the DCP travel in the first setup and then set the DCP gain to match it for the new setup.
Comments/suggestions are welcome....
