Since my throttle servo went out last week and I'm back to rebuilding I have an airtronics 94102 servo in the box just sitting here so could I use it for throttle?

Just about any servo will work for throttle, just make sure your gov is not in super mode. It'll push 5 times too many frame rates at the servo until it goes south.

Also check direction. Different brands run different directions. Don't ask how I know these things. Hint $$$!!
