They sure look durable from what I saw in the video. I too am curious if anyone has these and if they are working well.

http://heliphotos43765After tiring of the gangley x-rod and balls set-up as beginners gear (neighbors kind of snicker) and snagging grass , grass stains on my tail rotor, stripped servos and bent shafts, replacing blades etc. I ordered a 60 size strut set (made my own skids) from tower hobbies (#HI3122 by Century). I ground off a lot of plastic on the struts to save weight with a bench grinder to 3/8" at the top and 1/4" at the bottom, drilled holes to fit the stock frame holes, took off the stock gear, screwed the new gear on. It balanced perfectly! Now the stance is twice as high, twice as wide. In order to now have a blade strike, the heli has to tip 45 degrees and you have to be in some serious trouble for that! When I get into trouble I just pull back on the throttle and she sets right down. I would have certainly had a series of several blade strikes just trying to get dialed in after repairs with a stock gear. When you're ready to switch back to stockits just a matter of four screws. It works so well I'm to have to keep 'em handy always.

[ATTACH]43767Sure would like to have a larger outdoor version of the cx2 just to putz around with to relax after training on my 400. Could be the next "GUITAR HERO" for mallwalkers if horizon hobbies could make them almost bullet proof,Watch out for that treeeee!
