Hello,
I have receive a mail from my vendor that MA has request to change all open tail to the close one.
I am a little scare because the open tail has no problems at all with other heli like the close tail except for the Spectra.
I do not understand why the close tail will be better than the open tail to resist at vibration from the Zenoah?
The problems as I have understood is that the shaft should not have a hole.
Is the Extreme tail different conception around the shaft?
Why should we not expect to have the same problems with the close tail!
Will all of us will test the close tail until we have a crash due to a break of it ?
I start to get rid of the spectra :arggg: and I have spent a lot of money in repair to again flying with the close tail and at every fly wondering if the tail will brake or not.
When I look the bergen gasser (comes with 26cc witch vibrates much more than 23cc), it has a open tail and I have not seen any reports regarding a failure of it.
I Just want to know what you are thinkings guys.
Maybe I am wrong (but I want to be sure because it is a lot of money involved).
Should I replace my open tail to a close tail and trust MA?
