Helidirect is sending me a new flybar.

You guys rock!!!!
Thank you again for super fast customer service.

Hi there,

Im having a hard time getting my fly bar to go through. Is there soming im missing here? After I take the bolts off the two ends it should just slide through right?

I got it back out, but I see where its getting stuck. There is a small bearing on each side, these are where it is getting stuck at. Its like the threads are to big to fit through. I can get it through on one side although its very tight, it will not go through the other side.

Sounds like you are trying to get an old flybar rod out. If that's the case you have to move it far enough to sand or file off the old set screw indentations so it can slid by the bearings on the end of the flybar. If you are trying to put a new flybar rod in and it is tight and HDX flybar rods seem to be a very tight, then try lightly sanding down the flybar rod so it slids through smoothly. Otherwise if you crash and have to remove it again it will be even harder to remove.

I completely avoid HD flybars at all costs. For whatever reason they arent manufactured to fit thru the bearings. I try to refit any parts I can with Align, flybars, bearings, gears etc.

They sent me an Align Flybar which I should get today I believe, so the new one shouldnt be a problem.

Thanks for the advice though
