Holy shite, I just came across this thread. Usually hang out on RR most of the time as Mike0251. So about a month ago, on RC Universe, http://www.rcuniverse.com/market/item.cfm?itemId=377537 I see an ad for a blinged out 600n. Priced right, and guess who? Yup. I look at the picture (3 of them lined up) and get this feeling I had seen that picture somewhere before, a gut feeling if you will. Then I read the words in pm's (email) very carefully. And just like his posts here, there is broken english. Ummmm, gut feeling #2. Broken english and words to the effect that you sound of middle eastern scamming origin Steve. Not that that matters what origin anyone is, but something smells. So I make him and offer, his full asking price, with the stipulation that I drive over (100 miles from Va) and paypal him there, cash, no cc, and I pick up the model intact....Now all of a sudden, he has another buyer, and he's not interested in my offer. Fine. So I felt bad about missing out on a to good to believe deal for about a day. Then! I see on here that he is selling its sister ship, in the same custom canopy scheme, and same damn picture. The add runs dry, he no longer responds to anyone on the ad itself. Man am I glad for gut feelings, and made a smart safe offer that frightened him! Hope you get all that is coming Steve. You smelled like a rat from day one to me and I will keep a very watchful eye out for you. Oh and guess what dude? When I went back to find that link about your 600n bird on RCUniverse, its says you have been suspended! Go figure that. Gents, don't hold back anything...give it the full Monte.

He PM'd me about 90 mins ago telling me he's no scammer blah blah blah. I told him to SHOW us what he's done, not tell us what he's going to do.

When you get that many threads on several different sites telling very similar stories, something's up. I'm not buying his story at all right now.

He may just be immature and can't handle a business deal. I've met people that were honest, but simply to lazy and/or immature to handle adult matters.

One friend of mine had pissed off countless people over a few of years in business deals..... After getting to know him I truly understood he couldn't help it. Took me a long time believe he had a mental disorder he was out of control of and hid it very well. He's a great guy and I love him like a brother, just DON'T loan him money or let him barrow something. You will have to talk to him about it constantly or it would drift to the back dark dungeons of his mind in a matter of hours. Pretty sad really.... feel bad for the guy cause he can't function very well in a work environment.

Sorry for all the trouble as I said before I never wanted it to get out of hand and It cost me $302 total. I sent you $270 and the rest is what it cost me to send you the money. I could have waited for the money to clear in Pay Pal but I wanted to pay you back ASAP and I did. It cost me but lesson learned. I will be a lot more cautions with my transactions and may even ship before get paid. So thanks a lot and very sorry for all the troubles and as soon as I get the papers from pay pal I will be able to show you and I can find where the mistake was. Thanks and sorry
