i came up with an idea to improve my orientation skills and want to no if im wasting my time or not. but well in the house i have a esky lama v4 i bounce of the walls for laughs :YeaBaby: i decided to throw the gyro slightly so the heli had a very slight right turn thus flying around not only needed cyc but also constant rudder do you think this will help me improve?

Sure it will help.

One trick I've done and others as well is to get my heli into a hover. Then add some rudder trim so that it is slowly doing a piroette. Same concept....

I am looking at a trex 600n with a 401 gyro, will the tail hold as straight as it does on the sim. I am asking because I have a old concept 30 and it likes to drift hard to hold straight.

the 401 will hold the tail of a 600 w/o any problems if it's setup and working correctly.
