Ok I'm looking for ideas & pictures! I want to be able to travel with my CXor CX2 in a case. Show me what you're using :)

I used a small ziploc plastic box about the size of a leftovers container
Took off the blades, canopy, and landing gear.. put them in the box with my supplies and stuck them in my luggage with the Tx. When you get there, it doesn't take long to rebuild it..

Thanks Mike. What I'm looking for is something more of a daily transport method rather than on the airlines. I carry my heli back and forth to work and right now I am stuffing it "Carefully" into a large duffle bag. The first thing in is my tackle box (well that's what it's designed for)

(See Below)

Then goes the CX & CX2, then both transmitters. I can't close the top even if I only transport one heli. I was looking for an idea/pics of what others are using for daily transport and for something I can toss in the car for long road trips that will protect it during travel but doesn't require any assembly.

Any ideas?

I just throw it in a plastic shopping bag and put on the back seat. You could go spend cash on that 'special' heli bag, but for a cx2, why? my 450rex is in a metal case at all times during transport. The duffle is fine for the cx.. just don't sit on it..:)

Well here's what I did.. I went "Toolbox" shopping and ended up with
http://i.walmart.com/i/p/00/88/59/11/04/0088591104092_500X500.jpg

It holds my CX2 (Jetranger body), 2 different Plano organizers, radio and 2 chargers with ease. Once I get it put back together I hope to fit my CX in there as well but I wont know for sure until I get it re-assembled to know for sure. It EASILY fits right now but there's no BODY on the CX *lol*

I'll take some pics of the set-up once I FIND my camera *lol*

I plan to get some "Foam" at the craft store and make custom cut/glued inserts to keep everything nice and "Snug".

:)
