What precisely si the difference between these two? I am seriously looking at getting one.... I can get an ep100 for a good deal!

All CNC head, on the 200, not on the 100 (fly bar cage is plastic). CNC/CF tail case on the 200, 100 has plastic. Longer tail boom on the 200, longer blades as well. CF frame on 200, 100 is plastic (if I remember correctly).
P.S. You can buy the 100 and make it a 200. Might end up being a more expensive route though.

not exactly it is bigger for starters, I find my 200 pretty stable not sure the 100 is as stable!

Yeah, the 200 is bigger over all. Pretty sure the frame is a completely different configuration too. I think that if you get the 100 and convert it you will end up spending more money in the long run (even if you get a good deal on the 100). The least expensive method to obtain a 200 is to buy each part separately and put it together yourself. By building up a 200 from scratch you will also gain a lot of valuable knowledge that you wouldn't otherwise. Time is money though, so it may be more cost effective to get a ARF kit.
the frame was the biggest decider really didn't like the look of those legs on the 100 frame the 200 is a good solid carbon frame with a fair amount of space to fit things in different configurations
