I need help. When my hurri is spooling down, a wobble begins on the 4 points of the landing skids. What causes this? It is obviously really bad when you land on a concrete surface compared to grass. My other helis don't do this. Whats wrong? My 550 flies perfectly, blades track great and no trim needed for stable hover. No problems in forward flight either. Thanks for any help.

what headspeed do you run at??? alot of times if its a high headspeed and you hit low stick which pushes the heli toward the ground at high speeds it will do that... but i would do 2 things... check your blade tightness and make sure its good and try next time to shut down at center stick using throttle hold

I run about 1680 in normal, idle 1 about 1750 and idle 2 1825 or so. I take off in normal and then idle up, I also go back into normal mode before i land. I have my throttle hold set up at 5% so I can do autos without the esc re-initializing. Is that right? Should I spool down slower. I only have -3 degrees of pitch in normal mode at low stick. Thanks for the help.

I'm going to concur with mike above....loose blades will do that on shutdown because when you take the power off they go out of alignment and do the "Chicken Dance"

Try tightening the blades up much more than you think it should be...this "just until they don't fall" stuff doesn't work very well...

And shut down as mike said at 0 pitch and see what happens..no reason it should shake that bad if it runs smooth at speed

yea heres the thing about the main blades... if you under tighten them you can get a boom strike and the dance... the only real danger of overtighten is breaking something... what i do is tighten til i can hold it sideways and they stay straight... when i shake hard they fall a little... then i tighten some more and its good
