Any bets that alans cyclic servos are JR 8711s? The servo case definitly looks like JR. The 8711 has some unbelievable torque. I'm really surprised he didn't have the spartan "blurred" out as well. Oh well, maybe someday I'll get my hands on the 700N....

he is probably using 8717s as they have way more torque than needed with awsome speed. he would certainly not use something that slow, despite the torque. he is sponsored by spartan RC so he would certainly not blur out there product.

You are probably right after looking at the speed again between the 8717 and 8711 it would be night and day. I would assume he is using an 8 volt setup? Or just 6 volts?

You'd think that if they were 8717's, they would have a red aluminum case. Not sure why it really matters though.

yeah but the 8711s have red cases too, and the 8717s have preferable specs. all the servo cases are hidden so you can't see the red alu case.

You can see the elevator servo in the last picture. At least I thought you could...
