Terry,

I picked up my Vibe today at lunch. I snapped a few initial pics. They're in my gallery. I'm sure the next few nights will be long ones. I'll try to get more pics up as I get something more worthy of shooting.

Terry,

Hard to say since I haven't built any of it yet, and have yet to fly it. I will say that the layout of the packaging did appear extremely nice. I love attention to detail, and it appears that JR covered it pretty well.

One thing I'm concerned about already, though, is the canopy is sort of messed up. You can tell on one of the pics that the windshield (black part) is painted off-center. I noticed it immediately, and it's kind of bothering me. But, it's not going to affect the building process, or the flying qualities, so overall, I guess I don't really care that much.

I cant wait to get started! So far I've got an OS 50, Align pipe, and a Multi gov. I'm gonna order BLS451 for the cyclic and JR770/8900 and I'm going with the Scott Gray reactor for power.

Got started on mine today...

Skip the 770 and find a Spartan. If you really want to the 770, let me know I got two to let go real cheap, sticking with the 611 and spartan ds760. Also would skip the align pipe, very cheaply made and will more then likely come apart on you on day. Go with the Hatori SAB-50HP. Also on the 50 the Reactor is overkill and just plain dead weight. I'm putting one on the 90 though.

Whats wrong with the 770? I've heard goos things about them. I was considering the ds760/bls251 but that would end up costing me quite abit more than the 770/8900. What regulator would you use?

Looking good Anthony. You and I are at the same point in our builds! This machine goes together really well. I'm impressed.

I flew the 770/8900G for a long time on my 600N, probably 80 flights. It's fast, consistent, and has amazing stopping power. I just got tired of the lack of programming options and the headache of tuning it sometimes.

Like I said, got two of them for sale if you really want one. I'll be running the Spartan and/or my pair of 611's.

The Vibe Fifty will have a Spartan DS760 running off a Spektrum VR5203 regulator. I'm running the cyclic at 8.4v straight from the lipo.

I literally had a new plane "fly" away from me only never to be found from a bad power system, so I always go a little overboard in that department! That lesson cost me over a $1100.00 and that was the first day with that plane! Pissed is an understatment! I'll probably still go with the SG reactor , but who knows?
