Hi Guys,

have you seen the new CNC Central boom assembly which includes the CNC boom supports (available from flying-hobby.com Part No: 203462)

I checked these out, the stock plastic equivilants are the same as the support mounts for the main boom (also the one that the fin and support rods fit to), has anyone tried this upgrade yet, I was thinking of trying it and using one of the support clamps in this pack for the main boom - for fin and support struts as the plastic ones easily strip?

I already have the CNC main boom asembly and this works really well - would defo recommend this!

Isn't the CNC Central Boom Assembly the aluminum part that the main shaft slides through?

Yes thats right. If you lok on flying hobby.com they have an upgrade version whcih comes with 2 x cnc supports with it. If you look at the stock ones (plastic), they are the same as the supports for the main boom (where the support rods join the boom and where boom fin is mounted. Hope that makes sense. there is also another upgrae part for where the main boom mounts to the frame (this is the CNC main boom support upgrade - which is the equivalent of 2 x boom supports as one piece)

Ok, thought they were talking about the tail boom support and I couldn't figure out why the central boom assembly would come with tail boom supports.
