Well I'm new here, and looking for a little help on my new baby.
Yesterday my Wasp V3 showed up in the mail, of course, I charge it, and get it ready.
Are there any other tips I should know about before I take it up? I only started it yesterday, didn't even think about trying to hover it yet because it seems to want to twist A LOT in the tail. Anyone got any tips for this specific mini, or anything I should know about before taking her up?
Thanks :)

Got suckered by that one myself as it looks such a great deal and the video is very good too. I was so frustrated with my wasp v3 i had a friend with a raptor titan try to fly it and his comments are not printable on here. After that it went in the cupboard and i bought a raptor titan which is excellent-certainly far far more stable and it is actually under control by me which the wasp NEVER was. Now i have a couple of months on the raptor i think you could eventually make a wasp v3 fly but i think by the time you have spent the time and money changing things you would be better off with a Trex 450/mini titan/raptor 30 or 50 instead. I have in fact just built my second heli a T rex 450SE v2 which is rather bling but "RC-expert" have some great prices on T rex. Don't let the wasp put you off get a good heli, get it set up properly and its a different beast altogether...and you WILL be able to fly in the end. PS a few hours on a good sim is worth a fortune in crashes, i did 8 hours on reflex and since starting to fly have got through my first gallon incident free!

Dang, sorry to hear that.
Update though, I noticed the rear belt pulley was broken, so I super glued that back together, and fixed some minor balance issues. Took her up today and she was very clean, still a little balance issues but very minor, nothing I couldn't fly her with. She was smooth for me man, Look her over again, try it again, it's worth it in my opinion, she was fun for me. :)
By the way, My V3 is stock, came as is, and it is flyable, just takes some time adjusting.

Since a pulley has a lot of stress applied, gluing may not work once operating.........

You may be right there, seems to be working great right now, I failed to mention before gluing it I drilled a tiny hole in it and pinned it. Seems to work great now.

Good for you! I wil be dragging mine out of the cupboard for a more thorough looking over and hope to now get it flyable tho i still say a raptor or trex would be a better long term option-tho much more initial outlay i accept. Still have to set up my 450 se v2 using the very good finless guides no doubt and look forward to mastering this heli thing same as you do. I will give the wasp another chance but i may still swot it.....he he.

Guys,
I think I'm going to give up on this heli. I'm going to stick with larger ones. Anyone interested in it?
I have the 6ch V3 Pro with the metal head and new fiberglass canopy. I have only hovered 1 pack through it. I've gone through the head and locktited everything. It will come with everything that comes stock plus a metal swashplate, spare main and tail shafts, main blades, feathering spindle, and tail control rod. I can leave the futaba s3114 tail servo and the Specktrum AR6100 on it if you want it.
Make me an offer.
THanks,
Leo
