My cpp was flying great, but now while in a hover it will be very steady, but all of a sudden it will fall and rise like a yo yo. Where do I begin to look for the problem? Is it a servo? and can I change the gears on a e-flight servo? or is it a collective problem? I hope someone can help Thanks in advance Joe and grounded

I would start by looking for binding, like the swash on the main shaft, blade grips, linkages, etc. In fact if it was me I would completely rebuild and inspect the head, then re lube it with triflo. BTW where are you flying, could it be wind, ground effect, or wash off of walls?
