I have had a BeginAir from parkflyer since last Christmas. After i messed it up last spring i put it away and haven't touched it... until now. I probably have a total of 3 to 5 minutes of stick time with this bird. I recently fixed all the problems, and today i took it up in the air... needless to say i crashed within 11 seconds (lucky for youtube i had my camera on)
The only parts i broke were the two screw holes in the rudder fin...
after looking at the footage of the crash, i noticed that the back part of the plane broke before it ever touched the ground
The plane hit nose (or chin) down with the aft end in the air
how did it break the rudder????
it couldn't have had enough inertia to continue forward like that, could it? how did that thin piece of foam break those hard plastic pieces off???
(ill try to post a vid if i can get my cam to work with my computer)
tomorrow i plan on flying again, but this time with a 3 channel super cub...
hopefully it wont break
is there a way to control a crash as not to have this happen????
(although i am thankful it was only the rudder, not that expensive to replace)
