Hi Folks
Anyone have any ideas on how to stop the tail from drifting ever so slightly?
How does one set it up to work right on the dx 7.
Currently playing with 35-40% sensitivity .
But still does not give me a locked in feel.
Advice appreciated.
Thanks
D

I don't know much about the DX7, or the drifting (other than use a click or two of trim to stop it), but as for the sensitivity and the "locked in" feel, here's some thoughts.

I had trouble initially because as I increased the sensitivity to lock the tail in more (as in high velocity tail slides) then the tail would wag (as in aggressive sideways loops). Lower the sensitivity to get rid of the wag, and then the tail wouldn't hold. I was familiar with the JR G500T, using 35% expo, so that is what I used on the 770. The key to solving the problem was increasing the expo to what I would consider excessive (55%)...but it worked. I was able to increase the sensitivity enough to lock it in, but with the expo, the wag was also gone. One more note. Small changes (just a few %), have noticeable effects. So don't throw 10% at a time at it one way or the other, and never get it dialed in.
Hope this helps. Dave Dahl.

Thanks man
I read the lit which came with the set up and I think I'm beginning to grasp it.
I flew this afternoon in gear 1 at 37 % and it was dead on. Tried switching to stunt mode in gear 0 but it wagged. ad it up at about 62%. Didn't bother messing with it Just flew in gear 1
As I did not have much time. That locked in feeling gives me so much more confidence though. Will try again tomorrow. Thanks for the advice
