Class D's don't seem to be very common. I'm guessing that since I can't even find a price, it would be out of my range to have one on hand for emergencies.
I ordered 3 ammo cans from here: http://www.armysurplusworld.com/display.asp?subDepartmentID=118 (they had a nice selection, with one can *almost* big enough to fit a trex 450.)

Well I found a source for the class D copper fire extingishers-A Advanced Fire And Safety Inc[ 1-800-257-2610].There located in Miami, Florida. The price for one of the copper powder extinguishers is 739.28 American dollars.If the Sodium Chloride Class D extinguisher works it is 417.00. The manufacture of these Extinguishers is Amerex.Someone on the East coast please call A Advance Fire And Safety Inc to see If there is one of these Extinguishers for under 100.00 american dollars.Untill there is a cheaper source I will smother the fire with a non combustable blanket.
